Happy October! I’m sitting here in Lincoln, taking care of my parents as they are both having surgery this week. I am grateful for three things – My family  – that they allow me to drop what I am doing and travel to take care of my parents with no questions and “what do you need from me??” My Absolutely Clean family … that they allow me to drop what I am doing and travel to take care of my family.  Family is everything and I have several versions of that “label”. Every comment from our staff was “we got it boss”  “we won’t let you down”  “safe travels” and they mean every word.

I’m grateful for you — I don’t write their paychecks .. YOU do — I just manage the money and the people and every day I am grateful that you allow us to care for your homes.

Why do you hire us?  I believe that you could hire any service.  Cleaning homes is NOT rocket science and many in our area do it well. However, I believe our culture spills over into what we do.  Today we lost a Time In a Bottle Client. Time is our most valuable asset. That’s part of the why … it starts off being a paycheck but our staff quickly understand that we are #morethanmaids.  Today they are sad and touched that the family called us to say, thank you and we thought you would want to know. Absolutely Clean will be participating in the Linus Project this month.

Blankets are made, cleaned and delivered to children locally in need. They range from babies in the NICU, young children going through treatments for cancer and other life threatening illness to young adults without anything but the clothes on their backs. Join us for a blanket making session and helping out a great cause.

When: December 13th, Starting at 6pm

Bring:  scissors and 2  yards of fleece to make a blanket
as well as an appetizer to share! Feel free to BYOB!
Where:  Our office – 708 J Ave NE Suites 208-210
