I hope this month's "news" finds you in a great place. It's an exciting month for us  – so much is happening that it takes a LIST!!
  1. My daughter Grace is home from college and ended her first year with a 4.0 – this mama bear could not be more proud!
  2. We won the steam cleaner!!
  3. We learned that we are one of the coolest place to work, Winners in the Corridor (very proud of this… those surveys come straight from our staff and they are anonymous) , our quality is improving monthly! 3.8 out of 4 stars is pretty darn great!
  4. We have a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager.
  5. We are still HIRING and have welcomed 6 new employees this month! 
  6. We have new quality survey software that with your feedback is helping us with our communication and your custom cleans! The more we communicate the easier it is for us to leave your home Absolutely Clean … YOUR standards are important!
  7. We are working VERY hard to be the largest service in town with the best quality – we are known for our attention to detail and our professionalism.  
  8. Two of our laundry techs are graduating high school this year! Congrats to Alex who is graduating from Marion and will be a Hawkeye next year! And Congrats to Allyson who is graduating from Linn Mar and will be attending KU in the fall. We couldn't be more proud and fortunate to have had you as part of our team for these last few years. Thank you ladies. Fly high!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks so my apologies that this is late as we wrap up 2014. It was a good year. The number I am most proud of is our staff retention.

I would venture to guess that we have the lowest turnover rate in our area in OUR industry. Our turnover for 2014 was only 14%, we love that we can give you consistent cleaners. That number is even lower if we take out the people that didn’t make it past orientation. 2015 will see an even lower number! Our staff are appreciated and they FEEL it. That’s something that happens on both sides of their day — with me and with YOU.

Thank you for always treating our staff like they are truly #morethanmaids.

Local Food Banks – Absolutely Clean will be collecting donations this month for all of the local food banks.

If you wish to donate any items you can leave the items with a note for your team on your counter so we know we are ok to remove them from your home.

You can also drop them by our office Mon.-Fri. between 9 am- 4 pm.
